During 29th of July – 4th of August 2018, at Brădățel, there took place the EE National Training Camp. For a few days almost 90 people, mainly from the younger generation, had the possibility to be trained, equipped and exposed to what most of the believers know as the Great Commission, which is sharing the Gospel to those who do not know God.
The participants went through 2 materials. The first was Hope for Kids, which is a training material for Sunday School teachers by which the children will hear and understand the Good News,, but also on their turn, be able to share the faith to other children, or to their family members. The second material was Share Your Faith, which teaches a simple and practical way to share the Gospel.
Besides the beautiful time of fellowship from the camp which included: games (football, volleyball, basket, zipper line, orientation, socialization games), hiking, campfire and time for socializing, the participants had the opportunity, on two different occasions, to go out in Hațeg to be able to actually see and practice all that they had been able to learn during the camp. Thus, as a result of the work of many small teams of trainers and trainees, more than 300 people have been publicly approached and more than 150 have heard the Good News of the Gospel. Following the work done in the camp and in the city of Hațeg, 12 people took the decision to accept Jesus Christ and 4 young people to get baptized this autumn.
The EE România Camp reached the 8th edition this year. The organization team, the trainers, the trainees, together with all the other participants are all thankful to God for the vision, passion and the practical ways of sharing our faith in our Lord Jesus Christ with which we are blessed!
